The St Kilda Festival New Music Competition finalists for 2024 have been announced!

From hundreds of entries, we’ve selected ten incredible bands and artists who will be performing live on the New Music Stage on Sunday 18 February.

The New Music Competition is a celebrated part of St Kilda Festival since 2007 and has hosted acts that have become some of the country’s most notable artists including Baker Boy, Missy Higgins, Client Liaison, and more.

Voting opens on Big Festival Sunday, with all artists performing as part of the competition in the running for the coveted St Kilda Festival Main Stage opening slot in 2025 and $5,000 cash.
